Ano kaya talaga ang totoong nangyari between Sarah Geronimo at John Lloyd Cruz? Kung mapapansin natin, talagang heartbroken si Sarah at mukha ngang pinaasa ni John Lloyd.

Kung track record at pagkatao ang pag-uusapan, totoong tao si Sarah at mabait samantalang si Lloydie naman sinungaling! Denial King ngunit sa huli aamin naman kasi siguro di na kaya ng konsensiya? Tsk.. tsk.. kawawa naman ang mga babaeng nauugnay kay John Lloyd.
Ay naku Sarah, wag mo na siyang pansinin pa. Kaya mo namang magsarili ng wala ang binata. Hindi pa magiging komplikado ang feelings mo. Kaya go go go lang girl!
Ngunit dahil nga hindi na komportable si Sarah na makaharap si John Lloyd, nabibinbin ngayon ang part 3 ng blockbuster na movie nina John Lloyd at Sarah Geronimo.

Inamin naman ni Lloydie na lahat ng naging pelikula niya kay Sarah ay espesyal. Of course, paano di magiging espesyal e dahil sa mga iyon kaya siya naging blockbuster King!
“Alam mo talagang yung mga nagawa namin sa dalawang pelikula (A Very Special Love and You Changed My Life) at sa isang episode ng Maalaala Mo Kaya, iilan lang ‘yang mga project na ‘yan kung tutuusin, pero ‘yan ang mga hindi ko malilimutan sa career ko. And malaki, malalim, at napaka-special ng ibig sabihin ng mga ‘yan. So I am really happy na meron siyang (Sarah) nasabing ganon.” Pahayag ng actor.

Noong July 11 ang debut ni Toni Gonzaga bilang co-host sa The BUZZ. At ang kauna-unahang actor na sumalang sa kanyang segment na “Toni Gonzaga Intriguing Statements” ay walang iba kundi ang Ultimate Heartthrob na si Piolo Pascual. Halos ginisa ni Toni si Piolo sa kanyang mga tanong tungkol sa tunay na relasyon nina Piolo Pacual at ang co-host nito sa The BUZZ na si KC Concepcion.
Sa kanyang interview, ito ang naging paliwanag ni Toni.
“Kasi naman ang tagal tagal na. Kailangan na niya umamin. Ang alam ko they’re both working on it talaga. Hindi pa naman talaga formal e. Ang pagkakaalam ko e wala pa talaga formal ‘yes, kami na’ or ‘no, hindi kami mag boyfriend.’ But I think Piolo is really pursuing KC and doing his best to win her. ‘Yun lang naman ang gusto kong malaman ng tao.”
Samantala, panay blush at ngiti lamang ang naging sagot ni Piolo sa maiinit na mga tanong ni Toni sa binata.
Tuwang-tuwa naman si KC pagkatapos ng interview ni Piolo at agad na dumiretso sa dressing room ni Toni.
“Tuwang-tuwa naman siya. Ang saya saya ni KC nung Sunday. Ngiti niya talaga hindi matawaran. Pumunta siya sa dressing room ko, at sobra rin ang ngiti niya.”
Ngayong tapos na ang pelikula nila ni Robin Padilla, gusto naman ng mga fans na gumawa si Toni ng pelikula kasama ang ultimate heartthrob. Excited naman ang magandang actress.
“May mga pinagkakaabalahan pang ibang proyekto si Piolo. Pero lahat naman ng bagay ay may timing. Naniniwala kasi ako na kapag ang isang proyekto pinilit, hilaw e. Dadating tayo diyan. Gagawin natin ‘yun kasi si Piolo napakalaki ng naitulong niya sa career ko. Siya ang first commercial ko, first interview sa The Buzz…muntik nang first love, charot!”

Sarah Geronimo to stay at ABS-CBN; renews contract

 

Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo on Wednesday renewed her contract with ABS-CBN for another year, ending speculations that she might transfer to rival network TV5 after her newest series “Idol.”

In an interview after signing the contract, Geronimo said there’s no need to transfer to other network since she’s happy being a Kapamilya star.

“Dito ay at home na at home po ako at napakalaki po ng naitulong sa career ko ng ABS-CBN. Sila po ang tumulong na makilala ako ng mga tao as Sarah Geronimo, sa ASAP, aktres sa mga teleserye, at even sa pelikula sa Star Cinema. Napaka-happy ko po at walang dahilan para umalis,” Geronimo said.

Geronimo added that ABS-CBN has lined up a lot of projects for her including musical series “Idol,” which premiered on Monday.

“Bonggang bongga at major major ang pasasalamat namin sa mga Kapamilya natin na sumubaybay ng premiere noong Monday. Ito very excited na po kami kasi talagang dito na mare-reveal ang puso ng istorya ng buhay ni Billy o ni Jean at lumabas na din si Coco Martin as Lando,” Geronimo said.

Geronimo admitted that she got worried after hearing the news of her purported transfer, prompting her to ask her talent manager about the issue.

“Oo may mga nagsabi sa akin at narinig ko sa ibang tao pa. Nag-worry, opo. I asked my manager at sinabi niyang hindi po totoo talaga,” Geronimo said

Also present during the contract signing were ABS-CBN Channel head Cory Vidanes, Entertainment head Linggit Tan, Business Unit head Deo Endrinal, Business Unit head Joyce Liquicia and Geronimo’s mother, Divine.

Marian Rivera renews contract with GMA Network

 

GMA-7′s Queen of Primetime Marian Rivera renewed her contract with GMA Network yesterday, Tuesday, September 7, per report of Aubrey Carampel on GMA-7′s 24 Oras.

Marian Rivera inked an exclusive contract with the Kapuso Network together with Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, GMA Network Chairman, President and CEO; and Mr. Gilberto Duavit, Jr., GMA Executive Vice President and COO.

Other GMA top executives were likewise present. Wilma Galvante, SVP for Entertainment TV, GMA Network, and Annette Gozon-Abrogar, President of GMA Films, graced the event along with Popoy Caritativo, Marian Rivera’s manager.

During the event, Mr. Duavit said about Marian:

The first three years went by very quickly. Over that period nakita naman natin ang tayog at lipad ‘di lamang ni Darna, pero ni Marian sa kanyang career…sa ating panananaw there’s no limit where she can go.”

Diether Ocampo, partners sued for P3.6 million debt

 

i am certainly sure that this is not the first time Diether Ocampo got sued. I remember writing in this blog’s predecessor an article about SSS filing charges against Diether Ocampo.

Now, though it is not a government subdivision, which is filing charges against Diether Ocampo, the primetime actor is getting sued nonetheless.

Per reports, Diether Ocampo and his partners are being sued for P3.6 million by a printing company over the alleged nonpayment of the printing of UNO men’s magazine.

-Velprint Corporation, in a three=page complaint, alleged that Diether and a certain Neil Angelo Romero, together with 5 Leaf Publishing Corporation, contracted its services from June 2 to Dec. 28, 2009 for the printing of the magazine.

Velprint said the contract for P4,124,970 was covered by postdated checks but despite completion of the job, Ocampo and his partners only settled P490,000, leaving a balance of P3,643,970 as of July 22, 2010.

Diether, in response, claims that he has divested himself of his shares from 5 Leaf. He said:

“It’s best that they get in touch with 5 Leaf’s management to address the issue. I have asked my lawyers to look into it to make sure everything’s okay.”

The case was raffled off to QC Regional Trial Court Branch 219 under Presiding Judge Bayani Vargas.

Aiza Seguerra to undergo artificial insemination

 

The plan of Aiza Seguerra to go through an artificial insemination is not that surprising. What is more surprising is the fact that she decided to personally bear the baby instead of her better half. I had always been of the impression that Aiza was the butch.

Per reports from unverified sources, Billy Crawford and Nikki Gil ended in a break up. However, no confirmation to such news was sought.

What is more shocking is the rumor saying that sexy starlet Bangs Garcia nabbed Nilly Crawford from the conservative Nikki Gil.

According to the grapevine, Bangs Garcia was spotted strolling with Billy Crawford near the latter’s residence in Eastwood.

Kris Aquino confirms mall sighting with Junjun Binay

 

Philippines’ Queen of All Media and newly appointed Ambassador for Dengue Prevention Kris Aquino confirmed in part reports saying that she was spotted malling with Makati Mayor Junjun Binay.

Before I go on with the story, I wish to greet my classmate CK Guinto a happy, happy birthday. I know she is a big fan of Kris Aquino’s. Same greeting goes to my dear batchmate Kae Guerrero, likewise of the UP College of Law.

Back to the story, Philippine Entertainment Portal’s Twitter account @scoopbox published a series of tweets narrating the incident wherein Kris Aquino was seen malling with Mayor Junjun Binay at Glorietta.

Kris Aquino reacted to the tweets via her Twitter account saying that while there is truth that they may have been seen together in Glorietta, she categorically denies having gone malling with the Makati first-termer mayor.

Kris explained that they only met by chance near the entrance of Tony Roma’s.

I guess that settles it. After all, I believe whatever Kris Aquino says. LOL. But on second thought, didn’t just Kris tell the whole world that he likes Junjun Binay in an interview with Boy Abunda?

Spotted: Rhian Ramos and Mo Twister doing grocery together

 

The issue linking primetime actress Rhian Ramos and talk show host DJ Mo Twister had been going around for ages. Hoever, neither of the two parties categorically admitted to a brewing romance.

Despite Mo Twister saying that he and Rhian Ramos are indeed close to each other, he never admitted that Rhian and him are in a relationship.

Just yesterday, a very reliable source, one whose credibility is indubitable, spotted Mo Twister and Rhian Ramos doing grocery together in a supermarket in Makati.

The tips from the source reads in part, and I quote:

[J]ust saw Rhian Ramos and Mo Twister doing grocery together at Rustans Supermarket in Makati.

It is very unlikely for two people to do grocery together unless they are in a relationship. But the writer does not intend to pass judgment. May it be left with the reader to ascertain whether there is malice in the sight of the two celebrities doing grocery together.

Jobert Sucaldito resigns from The Buzz

 

After having been in an awkward position when Willie Revillame asked for his expulsion from ABS-CBN, showbiz writer and talk show host Jobert Sucaldito voluntarily resigned from the Sunday afternoon showbiz oriented talk show The Buzz. Jobert severed ties with The Buzz after 11 fruitful years.

Like anybody who was shocked by the news, I am sure my Remedial Law classmate Charles David Icasiano, whose father is an executive judge, will be shocked to hear this news as well.

In his column for a local tabloid, Jobert said that he felt “unwanted” and “unneeded” since the showbiz talk show reformatted last month. The showbiz talk show was forced to effect a reformat when the Queen of All Media herself left the program.

“When Kris left the show, parang nataranta ang mga boss namin. Parang sina Toni and Charlene na lang ang iniisip nila. Kami, kung saan-saan na lang itinatapon. I hate that feeling. Sa tanda ko ba namang ito sa industriya ay ipipilit ko pa ba ang sarili ko? Hindi naman ako trying hard, ‘no!” Jobert blurted.

He further mentioned that Boy Abunda had to request executives of the show to include Jobert in the weekly run.

“Alam ko namang mahal nila ako but I hate lang the feeling na kung kailan lang nila maisip na isali ako sa show, du’n lang nila ako papupuntahin. Kung talagang gusto ka nilang ipasok sa show, kaydaling gawan ng paraan iyon… Iyon ay kung mahalaga ka nga? Pero sino nga ba naman ako kumpara kina Charlene at Toni, aber?” he added.

Jobert related having a conversation with the show’s executive producer, Nancy Yabut, on August 28.

“Nancy told me that yesterday’s [August 29] show kumbaga was full – half of which ay tungkol kay Ma. Venus Raj and half of the show ay para sa promo ng ‘Sa ’Yo Lamang.’ Sabi ni Nancy sa akin, next Sunday na lang ako pumunta sa ‘The Buzz,’ meaning, hindi ako kasali sa show kahapon. Wala naman akong magagawa, ‘di ba? Alangan namang ipagpilitan ko ang sarili kong sumali sa show when I know that I’m not needed,” he narrated.

Nevertheless, Jobert will remain to be a Kapamilya since he still has a radio program with dZMM 630.
